The Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA) baseball got by the visiting Armijo Royals (Fairfield, CA), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host East Union for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 10. Laguna Creek will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Escalon (Escalon, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 5-3.
With the defeat, Armijo drops to 4-4 on the year. The Royals host Burbank (Sacramento, CA) to clash with the Titans in a Greater Sacramento challenge on Tuesday, March 18. The Titans go into the challenge with a record of 5-2.
