In Saturday's non-league game, the host Catholic - N.I. Panthers baseball team scored a close 3-1 win over the Thibodaux Tigers.
The Panthers (9-7) will now prepare for their game against Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 7-9 record. In their last game, Dunham nudged Bourgeois (Gray, LA), 14-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Tigers play the Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 11. Thibodaux will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 1-14 record after their 10-3 non-league loss to Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA).
