The Poolville Monarchs baseball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Millsap Bulldogs to 2 in the Monarchs non-league win on Saturday.

The Monarchs now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gordon for a non-league test on Monday, March 10.

With the defeat, Millsap drops to 5-5 on the year. The Bulldogs host Tolar (Tolar, TX) to play the Rattlers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. The Rattlers go into the test with a record of 1-5. Tolar lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Boyd (Boyd, TX)
