The Miramonte Matadors baseball squad (Orinda, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Petaluma Trojans (Petaluma, CA)

With the triumph, Petaluma moves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Trojans host Benicia (Benicia, CA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league contest on Friday, March 14. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 3-0.

The Matadors now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 11. Miramonte will confront a Highlanders squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Head-Royce (Oakland, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-1.
