The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) baseball trounced the host Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC), 12-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Norman Charter for a South Piedmont 3A challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Northwest Cabarrus will clash with a Knights team coming off a 12-1 league win over Concord (Concord, NC). The Knights record now stands at 4-0.
With the defeat, Salisbury drops to 0-4 on the year. The Hornets travel to A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC) to clash with the Wonders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 15. The Wonders go into the challenge with a record of 1-3.
