The Oxford Chargers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting South Panola Tigers to 0 in the Chargers non-league win on Saturday.
The Chargers now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Petal for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. Oxford will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 7-2.
With the defeat, South Panola drops to 6-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Central Hinds Academy (Raymond, MS) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 1-5. Central Hinds Academy won 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Richland (Richland, MS)
