The West Harrison Hurricanes (Gulfport, MS) baseball trounced the host Stone Tomcats (Wiggins, MS), 9-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Hurricanes now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hatley for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 12.
With the defeat, Stone drops to 3-8 on the year. The Tomcats host Long Beach (Long Beach, MS) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 11. The Bearcats go into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Long Beach won 11-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Perry Central (New Augusta, MS)
