The Rib Lake Redmen basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Mellen Granite Diggers to 50 in the Redmen non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Redmen now possess a 18-7 record. They play next when they travel to Prentice for a non-league game on Thursday, March 13. Rib Lake will play a Buccaneers team coming off a 60-53 non-league win over Bayfield (Bayfield, WI). The Buccaneers record now stands at 16-5.

With the loss, Mellen falls to 23-4 on the campaign.
