The West Chargers (Topeka, KS) basketball crushed the visiting Valley Center Hornets (Valley Center, KS), 81-54 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Chargers now possess a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Kapaun Mt. Carmel for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 13. West will play a Crusaders team coming off a 61-42 non-league win over Maize South (Wichita, KS). The Crusaders record now stands at 19-3.

With the loss, Valley Center falls to 11-11 on the campaign.
