Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mission San Jose Warriors (Fremont, CA) and the host Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA), observed Mission San Jose's volleyball team hold off Granada by a count of 2-1.

The Warriors (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA). The Dons enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Amador Valley got by Acalanes (Lafayette, CA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Matadors battle the Campolindo Cougars (Moraga, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 8. Granada will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to De La Salle (Concord, CA).
