In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host American Canyon Wolves volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Burton Pumas.
The Wolves (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA). The Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, San Ramon Valley was nudged by College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pumas play the Franklin Yellowjackets (Stockton, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 8. Burton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 3-2 league win over Stagg (Stockton, CA).
