The Venice Gondoliers edged the visiting Sylmar Spartans volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Gondoliers confront the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves (El Segundo, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 8. Venice will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record. The Wolves go into the game with a 3-6 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Crossroads (Santa Monica, CA).

The Spartans (12-7) will now prepare for their game against East Valley (North Hollywood, CA). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, East Valley nudged Northridge Academy (Northridge, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
