The Elk Grove Thundering Herd edged the visiting Head-Royce Jayhawks volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Thundering Herd face the Dougherty Valley Wildcats (San Ramon, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 8. Elk Grove will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA).
The Jayhawks (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, Las Lomas was edged by Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
