In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Non Varsity Opponent volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Marquez Gladiators.

The (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sylmar (Sylmar, CA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Sylmar was nudged by Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Gladiators meet the Cleveland Cavaliers (Reseda, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 8. Marquez will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Calabasas (Calabasas, CA).
