The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Santa Margarita Eagles (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) and the host Loyola Cubs (Los Angeles, CA), saw Santa Margarita's baseball team gain a win over Loyola by a tally of 10-2.
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Gahr (Cerritos, CA). The Gladiators enter the non-league battle with a 1-5 record.
Next, the Cubs face the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers (Chatsworth, CA) in a battle, on Saturday, March 15. Loyola will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Trailblazers enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Paraclete (Lancaster, CA).
