The Battle Mountain Huskies lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the visiting Denver East Angels to 10 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Huskies now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Steamboat Springs for a 4A Mountain East challenge on Wednesday, March 12. Battle Mountain will clash with a Sailors squad coming off a 10-8 league win over Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO). The Sailors record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Denver East falls to 1-1 on the year. The Angels host Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 11. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
