Standley Lake Gators (Westminster, CO) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Frederick Golden Eagles (Frederick, CO), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Standley Lake moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Gators host Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO) to meet the Devils in a non-league test on Thursday, March 13. The Devils come into the test with a record of 1-1.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Erie for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. Frederick will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Centaurus (Lafayette, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.
