North Carolina High School Soccer - Nash Central nudges John Paul II Catholic

In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Nash Central Bulldogs soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the John Paul II Catholic Saints.
The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Southern Nash (Bailey, NC). The Firebirds go into the The Big East 2A/3A outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Southern Nash was edged by Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC), 7-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Saints confront the Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) in a NCISAA Coastal Plain outing, on Monday, March 10. John Paul II Catholic will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 4-0 record after their 6-1 non-league win over South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC).
