California High School Baseball - Leigh edges Archbishop Riordan

The Leigh Longhorns baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Archbishop Riordan Crusaders to 3 in the Longhorns non-league win on Saturday.

The Longhorns now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Los Gatos for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 12. Leigh will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Archbishop Riordan drops to 3-2 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Capuchino (San Bruno, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 5-1. Capuchino won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA)
