California High School Baseball - Santa Ynez held off by Righetti

Righetti Warriors (Santa Maria, CA) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Santa Ynez Pirates (Santa Ynez, CA), 8-6 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Righetti advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to St. Bonaventure (Ventura, CA) to battle the Seraphs in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 11. The Seraphs come into the match with a record of 3-2. St. Bonaventure 5-5 in their recent non-league match against Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA)

The Pirates now have a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cabrillo for a non-league match on Monday, March 10.
