In Saturday's non-league test, the Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy Eagles (Youngsville, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Grand Lake Hornets (Lake Charles, LA), by a tally of 12-6.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Erath Bobcats (Erath, LA) in a 3A District 5 test, on Tuesday, March 11. Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record.
The Hornets (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Fairview (Grant, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
