Louisiana High School Softball - Ascension Catholic bounces St. Michael

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA) and the host St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA), observed Ascension Catholic's softball team prevail over St. Michael by a tally of 10-0.
The Bulldogs (11-1) will now prepare for their bout against Dutchtown (Geismar, LA). The Griffins go into the non-league bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Dutchtown was routed by Sulphur (Sulphur, LA), 10-3, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Breaux Bridge Tigers (Breaux Bridge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 8. St. Michael will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 19-12 non-league loss to Destrehan (Destrehan, LA).
