California High School Softball - Birmingham edged by West Ranch

March 8, 2025: Valencia, CA 91381

The Birmingham Patriots softball squad (Lake Balboa, CA), was edged 6-5 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA)

With the triumph, West Ranch improves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Louisville (Woodland Hills, CA) to face the Royals in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 11. The Royals enter the contest with a record of 2-5. Louisville lost 8-0 in their recent non-league contest against Quartz Hill (Quartz Hill, CA)

The Patriots now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Notre Dame (SO) for a non-league contest on Thursday, March 13. Birmingham will face a Knights squad coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Flintridge Sacred Heart (La Canada-Flintridge, CA). The Knights record now stands at 7-3.
