Carbon Hill Bulldogs (Carbon Hill, AL) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Marion County Red Raiders (Guin, AL), 10-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Carbon Hill upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Bulldogs host Oakman (Oakman, AL) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Area 9 bout on Tuesday, March 11. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Oakman lost 14-7 in their recent non-league bout against Oak Grove (Bessemer, AL)

In their next game, the Red Raiders battle the Berry Wildcats (Berry, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 10. Marion County will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 7-4 non-league win over South Lamar (Millport, AL).
