California High School Softball - Casa Grande sneaks past Redwood

The Casa Grande Gauchos softball team scored 2 runs and held the host Redwood Giants to 1 in the Gauchos non-league win on Saturday.

The Gauchos now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vacaville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 11. Casa Grande will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to American Canyon (American Canyon, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Redwood moves to 1-4 on the season. The Giants travel to Pioneer (Woodland, CA) to confront the Patriots in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 8. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 3-2. Pioneer won 8-0 in their recent non-league battle against St. Francis (Sacramento, CA)
