In Saturday's non-league test, the Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM), by a tally of 13-7.
Next, the Hawks clash with the Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 8. Centennial will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Hawks go into the test with a 4-3 record after their 17-7 non-league win over Belen (Belen, NM).
The Wildcats (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Gallup (Gallup, NM). The Bengals go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Gallup was routed by Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 8-5, in a non-league test.
