The Central Private Redhawks triumphed over the visiting St. Joseph's - Plaucheville Eagles softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Redhawks play the Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA) in a 1A District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, March 11. Central Private will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 18-8 non-league loss to Springfield (Springfield, LA).
The Eagles (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Northside Christian (Crowley, LA). The Warriors enter the C District 5 challenge with a 3-1 record.
