Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL), 4-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Tishomingo County improves its record to 11-1 on the year. The Braves travel to Shannon (Shannon, MS) to play the Red Raiders in a 4A Region 1 game on Thursday, March 20. The Red Raiders enter the game with a record of 4-7.

The Indians now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Athens Bible for a non-league game on Saturday, March 8. Colbert County will play a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Belgreen (Russellville, AL). The Trojans record now stands at 3-1.
