The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Troy Trojans (Troy, TX) and the visiting Connally Cadets (Waco, TX), observed Troy's softball team notch a victory over Connally by a final score of 17-1.

The Trojans (12-3) will now prepare for their bout against Grandview (Grandview, TX). The Zebras go into the non-league bout with a 9-2 record. In their last bout, Grandview gained a win over Stephenville (Stephenville, TX), 11-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cadets battle the McGregor Bulldogs (McGregor, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 11. Connally will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 13-1 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX).
