The Opelousas Catholic Vikings (Opelousas, LA) softball nipped the visiting Doyle Tigers (Livingston, LA), 7-6 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Vikings now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rayne for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 12. Opelousas Catholic will encounter a Wolves team coming off a 7-4 non-league win over St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA). The Wolves record now stands at 3-8.
With the loss, Doyle moves to 9-3 on the season. The Tigers host Church Point (Church Point, LA) to encounter the Bears in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 8. The Bears come into the outing with a record of 3-2. Church Point won 14-10 in their recent non-league outing against Rayne (Rayne, LA)
