The Neshoba Central Rockets softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Eupora Eagles to 1 in the Rockets non-league win on Saturday.

The Rockets now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Webster for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 8. Neshoba Central will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Eupora moves to 13-1 on the season. The Eagles host Nanih Waiya (Louisville, MS) to confront the Warriors in a non-league battle on Monday, March 10. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 3-9.
