In Saturday's non-league match, the host Leesville Wampus Cats softball team scored a nice 16-4 victory over the Georgetown Bulldogs.

The Wampus Cats (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Hicks (Leesville, LA). The Pirates go into the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Hicks gained a win over Evans (Evans, LA), 11-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 10. Georgetown will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Warhorses go into the match with a 3-6 record after their 17-0 non-league loss to Montgomery (Montgomery, LA).
