In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Sardis Lions softball team scored a tight 3-2 win over the Kate Duncan Smith DAR Patriots.
The Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Pell City (Pell City, AL). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 8-4 record. In their last match, Pell City was nipped by Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL), 10-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Patriots confront the Oneonta Redskins (Oneonta, AL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 8. Kate Duncan Smith DAR will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Redskins come into the match with a 3-5 record after their 8-1 league loss to Ashville (Ashville, AL).
