The LaSalle Tigers triumphed over the visiting Leesville Wampus Cats softball squad by a count of 6-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers play the Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 8. LaSalle will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Beekman Charter (Bastrop, LA).
The Wampus Cats (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Georgetown (Georgetown, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Georgetown edged Block (Jonesville, LA), 6-5, in a non-league challenge.
