The St. John's Mavericks softball squad (Houston, TX), was routed 13-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host San Clemente Tritons (San Clemente, CA)

With the triumph, San Clemente improves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Tritons travel to Woodbridge (Irvine, CA) to face the Warriors in a non-league contest on Monday, March 10. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 2-3. Woodbridge lost 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Dana Hills (Dana Point, CA)

The Mavericks (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Mission Vista (Oceanside, CA). The go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Mission Vista was routed by Academy of Our Lady of Peace (San Diego, CA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
