In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Carlynton Cougars (Carnegie, PA) basketball squad beat the host Rocky Grove Orioles (Franklin, PA), by a margin of 48-38.
The Cougars (21-3) will now prepare for their outing against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA). The Chargers go into the non-league outing with a 24-0 record. In their last outing, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart defeated United (Armagh, PA), 75-50, in a non-league outing.
The Orioles now own a 18-7 record.
