California High School Baseball - Point Loma holds off Sage Creek

Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Sage Creek Bobcats (Carlsbad, CA), 11-7 in a non-league test.
With the win, Point Loma upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Pointers host St. Augustine (San Diego, CA) to battle the Saints in a test on Friday, March 11. The Saints come into the test with a record of 6-1. St. Augustine won 11-3 in their recent non-league test against La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA)
With the defeat, Sage Creek falls to 1-2 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA) to battle the Broncos in a non-league test on Thursday, March 17. The Broncos come into the test with a record of 3-1.
