Vacaville Bulldogs (Vacaville, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to American Canyon for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 14. Vacaville will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 19-1 non-league win over St. Helena (St. Helena, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Pleasant Grove falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Folsom (Folsom, CA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
