The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Sunray Bobcats (Sunray, TX) and the visiting Claude Mustangs (Claude, TX), saw Sunray's softball squad nip Claude by a count of 6-5.
The Bobcats now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Booker for a non-league match on Saturday, March 19.
With the loss, Claude falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Gruver (Gruver, TX) to face the Greyhounds in a non-league match on Monday, March 14. The Greyhounds enter the match with a record of 0-0.
