The Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA) softball routed the host Franklinton Demons (Franklinton, LA), 10-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Green Wave (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Hammond (Hammond, LA). The Tornadoes go into the 5A District 6 bout with a 1-7 record.

The Demons now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they host St. Scholastica for a 4A District 8 bout on Thursday, March 10.
