California High School Softball - Homestead bounces Lincoln

March 9, 2022: Cupertino, CA 95014

Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Santa Clara for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 11. Homestead will face a Bruins squad coming off a 18-0 non-league loss to Branham (San Jose, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Lincoln falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Saratoga (Saratoga, CA) to face the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 14. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
