The Tolleson Wolverines softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting La Joya Community Fighting Lobos to 0 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Tolleson improves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ) to clash with the Rams in a non-league game on Thursday, March 10. The Rams come into the game with a record of 10-6. Maricopa won 29-0 in their recent non-league game against Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ)

In their next game, the Fighting Lobos clash with the Westview Knights (Avondale, AZ) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 10. La Joya Community will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 0-4 record after their 19-0 non-league loss to Liberty (Peoria, AZ).
