California High School Softball - Tamalpais bounces Piner

March 9, 2022: Santa Rosa, CA 95403

The Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks (Mill Valley, CA) softball routed the host Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA), 14-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Red Tailed Hawks (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA). The Wildcats go into the Marin County bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Marin Catholic toppled Sonoma Valley (Sonoma, CA), 15-4, in a non-league bout.

The Prospectors now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Healdsburg for a North Bay - Redwood bout on Thursday, March 10. Piner will confront a Greyhounds squad coming off a 16-11 non-league win over Kelseyville (Kelseyville, CA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 1-3.
