In Thursday's non-league game, the host Farmington Scorpions baseball team scored a tight 10-3 victory over the Gadsden Panthers.
The Scorpions (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Hawks go into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Centennial tipped Miyamura (Gallup, NM), 16-3, in a non-league game.
