In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Wayne County Yellow Jackets baseball team scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Richmond Hill Wildcats.
The Yellow Jackets (7-6) will now prepare for their game against Burke County (Waynesboro, GA). The Bears go into the 4A Area 3 game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Burke County tipped Jefferson County (Louisville, GA), 12-5, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats (6-8) will now prepare for their game against South Effingham (Guyton, GA). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, South Effingham by Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA), 8-7, in a non-league game.
