The Varela Vipers baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Somerset Academy Silver Palms Stallions to 4 in the Vipers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Vipers (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Riviera Prep (Miami, FL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Riviera Prep gained a win over LaSalle (Miami, FL), 10-8, in a non-league match.
