The West Stanly Colts crushed the host St. Stephens Indians baseball team by a count of 10-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Colts now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Porter Ridge for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 14. West Stanly will face a Pirates team coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Butler (Matthews, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 1-2.
Next, the Indians face the West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC) in a Western Foothills 3A bout, on Tuesday, March 14. St. Stephens will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Starmount (Boonville, NC).
