The Jayton Jaybirds topped the visiting McMullen County Cowboys basketball team by a final score of 46-36 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Jaybirds face the Graford Rabbits (Graford, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 11. Jayton will attempt to improve on its 32-2 season record. The Rabbits come into the battle with a 36-3 record after their 65-42 non-league win over Benjamin (Benjamin, TX).
