Illinois High School Basketball - Tuscola knocked off by Scales Mound

The Scales Mound Hornets basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Tuscola Warriors to 27 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hornets now sport a 33-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gibault Catholic for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 11. Scales Mound will battle a Hawks team coming off a 70-46 non-league win over Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 31-7.

The Warriors (28-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL). The Cyclones enter the non-league contest with a 32-5 record. In their last contest, Cornerstone Christian ran past St. Francis de Sales (Chicago, IL), 58-28, in a non-league contest.
