The Rancho Verde Mustangs topped the visiting Chaparral Pumas volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mustangs now have a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poly for a Sunbelt test on Monday, March 13. Rancho Verde will confront a Bears team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Woodcrest Christian (Riverside, CA). The Bears record now stands at 6-7.

The Pumas (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Murrieta Valley (Murrieta, CA). The Nighthawks enter the test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Murrieta Valley was knocked off by Paloma Valley (Menifee, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
